چکیده
Societal Impact Statement The human population is expected to reach 9.7 billion in the next 30 years, increasing strain on our already precarious food system. Climate change shifting weather patterns, leading unpredictable and catastrophic events that further threaten agronomic sector. Plant scientists are implementing biotechnological tools sustainably increase both production nutritional content of crops. Engineering GOLDEN2‐LIKE (GLK) transcription factors a promising route improve photosynthesis, as well other important agronomical traits, achieve security for growing under an climate. Summary Using agricultural biotechnology photosynthetic efficiency crops has been focus plant science research over last two decades. Transcription coordinate expression gene networks basis development physiological responses and, such, good targets help photosynthesis. Among known transcriptional regulators, (GLKs) may be ideal candidates photosynthesis crops, they master regulators genes associated with chloroplast biogenesis across broad diversity lineages. Moreover, recent work revealed their involvement environmental response, pathogen defence regulation plant's whole life cycle. Thus, manipulating GLK activity, alone or likely combination modifications, clear potential growth. Here, we review into function discuss these key enhance stress tolerance Additionally, take advantage vast genome transcriptome datasets available explore evolutionary history GLKs kingdom implications adoption crop engineering projects.

GOLDEN 2-LIKE Transcription Factors of Plants
Golden2-like (GLK) transcription factors are members of the GARP family of Myb transcription factors with an established relationship to chloroplast development in the plant kingdom. In the last century, Golden2 was proposed as a second golden producing factor and identified as controlling cellular differentiation in maize leaves. Then, GLKs were also found to play roles in disease defense and ...
متن کاملGolden Rice and 'Golden' crops for human nutrition.
Micronutrients are essential for a healthy life. Humans do not produce micronutrients, and hence they must obtain them through the foodchain. Staple crops are the predominant food source of mankind, but need to be complemented by other foodstuffs because they are generally deficient in one or the other micronutrient. Breeding for micronutrient-dense crops is not always a viable option because o...
متن کاملiranian english learners’ perception and personality: a dual approach to investigating influential factors on willingness to communicate
abstract previous studies on willingness to communicate (wtc) have shown the influence of many individual or situational factors on students’ tendency to engage in classroom communication, in which wtc has been viewed either at the trait-level or situational level. however, due to the complexity of the notion of willingness to communicate, the present study suggests that these two strands are ...
Monitoring Response of a Few bZip Transcription Factors in Response to Osmotic Stress in Sunflower
Background: Sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) is one of the important vegetable oil supplies in the world and in Iran, as well. It is classified as a drought semi-tolerant crop; however, its yield is adversely affected by drought stress. Understanding the initial events in sensing stress and the related physiologic and biochemical events thereafter, is crucial in designing droug...

The start of the European Electronic Toll Service (EETS) appears far from being thoroughly realized, because of the unclear definition of a business model especially from the point of view of the EETS Providers. Toll Chargers started to approach EETS at a greater speed, as they shall accept any possible Provider from October 2012. The EETS Directive is one of the factors affecting the next arch...
